One Office. One Team. One Implant From Start to Finish

Most patients who need an implant get passed between two offices: a surgeon for the placement and a general dentist for the crown on top. That means two consultations, two treatment plans, two sets of appointments, and a lot of back and forth.

We do it all in one place. As your Hixson dentist, Dr. Gustavo Moretta keeps your implant case under one roof from preplanning to permanent crown.

What We Do In-House

Dr. Moretta places the implant post directly into your jawbone right here in our office. The same team that places it also designs, mills, and seats the final crown when healing is complete. No handoffs. No coordinating between offices, which is one of the reasons patients pick us over a larger Chattanooga dentist chain.

Every case is preplanned using CBCT scanning and digital imaging. That means we know exactly where the implant needs to go before we start. Precision from the first step, the kind of digital dentistry Chattanooga area patients drive to Hixson for.

Immediate vs. Delayed Implants

Not all implants follow the same timeline. Some patients are candidates for an immediate implant, where the implant goes in the same day the tooth is removed. Others need time for the extraction site to heal before placement. A delayed approach is sometimes the safer option when there is infection, significant bone loss, or other factors at play.

We evaluate your specific situation and recommend the path that gives you the best long-term result.

The Timeline

After the implant is placed, it needs time to fuse with the bone. This is called osseointegration, and it takes about 3 to 4 months. During that time, we fit you with a temporary restoration so you are never walking around with a gap.

Once the implant is stable and fully integrated, we scan, design, and mill your permanent crown using the same Roland milling technology that makes our same-day crowns Hixson patients walk out wearing. The result is a tooth that looks, feels, and functions like a natural one. No adjacent teeth are altered. No bridge required.
